got an interview soon for a job as rapid response support worker.
At the time of applying, there wasn't a job des/person spec online but they have now emailed me one. Anyone , I didn't realise but it is more of a "senior job role"
I know im more than capable, I can walk the walk but don't think I can talk the talk.
I have been working in care for 10 year but I am very very nervous for the interview.
I have all of the essential criteria but only 2 of the desirable. I just don't think I stand a chance :(

Hi, I have a job interview tomorrow for a lunchtime supervisor assistant at my local primary school..it's my first interview I've had in ages and I'm pretty nervous of what kind of questions they are going to ask me. Hoping someone can give me a bit of advice. Thanks

Hi guys

It's normal, and indeed healthy, to be nervous; it forces you to concentrate!

There are a whole host of solutions to support you being the best you can be at interview. Like any skill, it's interesting to see how little people invest in getting better at it. My interview skills coaching sessions take a minimum of 1 hour, and cover such things as essential preparations, dress, question techniques and posture. But key is supporting your improving confidence. One snippet is to remember that the interviewed are also under scrutiny...from you! If they don't perform well, you may judge that you actually don't want to be part of their organisation! It might help a little.

Good luck! And do get in touch if I can be of any further assistance.
