How did this interview sound to you?

Sailed through HR and telephone interview. I had a F2F yesterday with one girl Id manage if I get the job, head of the office who I'd be in touch with for HR matters and a person I'd report into in the US. I don't think they're in any doubt I could do the type of work they'd need me for but the 'leading the dept to success' I know I was a bit woolly on. HR got all my details ages ok but they didn't ask any HR questions or next steps. The guy on the phone said 'if you've any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me'. HR said they'd call today to see how I felt it went. 4 pm - no call. Or is the last statement just a red herring? I got the impression the head of office could take me or leave me, the line managee I had rapport with and person on phone seemed engaged. I feel however I may have blown it...??
