This probably sounds like a daft question so apologies. I have had a career break from an accountancy career. I have got an interview for a school Adminiatrator post but I am not sure what to wear. Is anybody an administrator who can give me some advice ie should I wear a suit or smart casual?

I was recently offered a job at a school (comms) and wore a silky green shirt with a little fitted unbuttoned cream blazer, and black trousers. I asked my recruiter what I should wear and she said "corporate but not too corporate" which was massively helpful as you can imagine hmm

corporate for sure.

Definitely suit or very smart end of smart casual. Even if school staff dress casually they expect staff to be able to dress smartly on occasion eg open evenings, school functions etc. the time to dress casually is after you get the job. Good luck!
