DS almost screams with frustration when another child cheats or bends the rules slightly in a game e.g. the ball was actually slightly over the line or the die didn't really land on its edge when it fell off the table.

Ok, ideally, the other child wouldn't try to bend the rules to their advantage, but sometimes its an accident and even when it isn't the resulting scene ruins the fun for everyone.

I am posting in G&T because apparently this sort of thing is common. Please tell mehow to stop it!

They may learn to be more controlled in displaying how upset they are as they get older. I think sticking to the rules will always be ridiculously important to them though. How old are they? DS started getting less upset from 7 onwards if I recall correctly. I was very strict at explaining how children people do not always stick to the rules.

12! I've been banging on about just letting things go for the good of the group for ever, but tonight we got another blast in front of his younger brothers friends. I despair!!!

My dd is the same ( she's g&t but also has Aspergers ), she has got a bit better with age, can now control herself a bit even though it still really annoys her.
