There's not much about me that's pretty .. but I do have very nice feet. Seriously, I've been told that by a lot of people and even told I should be a foot model lol.
However I am plagued by hard skin on the soles, and I don't mean the odd callus, but really thick skin - toes, balls of the feet and heels. It's a constant job trying to keep it under control.
I go to a yoga class, where we are supposed to be barefoot and there are old ladies and gents with beautifully soft feet, not a callus in sight. Half the time I wear socks because I am so embarrassed at mine, if I haven't had a chance to give them a going over before the class. I had to lie and tell the instructor that I have a verruca to explain the sock wearing.
The best thing I've found so far is the ped-egg, but it's a pain to use, grating away for hours to get them smooth lol (sorry to be so graphic), slathering on the moisturiser afterwards etc. It's great once I do it, but then a couple of days later it's back again.
Does anyone have any other suggestions or products to help with hard skin on feet? By the way, a pumice stone doesn't even touch it I'm afraid.
