Yes, Twiglett, how are you?

mears Sun 14-Aug-05 17:40:26

she's definately here

Twiglett Sun 14-Aug-05 17:43:10

oo that's embarrasing

thanks for asking they are remarkably fine .. consultant said he was glad for GA cos he needed to do it in 2 pieces and warned me of copious blood loss and period-type pains

I've so far had a little spotting which has stopped and a couple of tummy pangs so despite a bit of wooziness I got off fairly easily

but nothing much to report .. will have results some time next week but nothing to worry about

thanks for support in advance .. much appreciated

what have you had done?

glad you are fine btw!

I just had a loop diathermy after an abnormal smear showed some icky cells on cervix (its a kind of electric wire that burns off the cells and I believe you have to be earthed for it )

if you haven't had your smear yet? go for it now though

Let us know when you get the pathology results! Best of luck, Twiglett and here's to a speedy recovery!

I am a little itchy though and wondering if that's connected to the op or is a thrush type infection on top? any idea?

moondog Sun 14-Aug-05 18:31:17

No,but glad it all went ok!
