Get it checked out immediately.

This is probably nothing like what you have at all but my cousin had a rash on his hairline and he had it for a few years and went to the doctor this week about something completely different, the doctor saw it and he is now diagnosed with skin cancer. I've just made an apointment to get my mole that has grown bigger looked at, rather waste the doctors time than risk your own health.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine - Joe

Get it checked out, Essbee. My sis had a skin-coloured 'blob' on her arm that turned out to be melanoma. Even her GP was surprised, as he had removed it in his surgery and said it was highly unlikely to be anything nasty. Good news is that she's fit and healthy, 15yrs on.

essbee, my mum has a slightly raised round patch of skin next to her hairline on her face, smaller than a 5p piece. I asked her about it the other day as she is very bad about not going to the doctor's too! But she said she had asked about it and was assured it was nothing to worry about.

I still agree with everyone else that you should get it checked out, but just wanted to reassure you that it may be fine!
