dont know whether this is too late but have been oon holiday. My Grandma had it & about 15 yrs ago when she was nearly 70. I know it was a fairly major op & she had to have some other bits "down below" removed as it had spread (I was only about 17 so i dont know all the details). She had to have radiotherapy for a while and was weak for a while after the op. She's only recently died and it wasnt anything to do with the cancer. Altho she had a number of scares over the years they always turned out to be nothing.

By the way i meant to say that by the time it was diagnosed it was fairly advanced and had spread but she still made a full recovery.
