Just spent an age trying to get through to the doctors and I'm F&%$ off, half the time they don't even bother to answer the phone at all! So no appointment for me and F£($(£ same day appointments only and f(£*&£ only being allowed to call at 8:30 and f£&$&£ them all the F£$£&$£ers (hormones!)

Anyway, I think DS has oral thrush, or something... On Thursday I noticed tiny white sores on his tongue, which have faded now but he's got a massive white sore in the corner of his mouth and about three tiny white pimple things under his bottom lip, he's hard to feed beacuase it hurts! Is there anything I can get non prescription to help him out?

the drops are called nystatin - dd2 had them when she was not very old for oral thrush. Are you feeding ie breastfeeding??? if so you can use the daktarin gel on your nipples to stop you getting it too. it looked a little cottage cheesy like sitting on her tongue. OTher thing you could use is daktarin oral gel - teaspoonful - available over the counter.

I went to a drop-in clinic who told me it was a cold sore! Which I'm convinced is cr*p because he has white sores on his tongue and around his bottom lip and then he has one big huge sore bit in the corner of his mouth... so I ignored them and got him some daktarin gel, glad I did now because DH seems to have managed to get it from kissing him lol!

He's not feeding, he just got it from snogging too many people at playgroup... something bad was bound to come of it..
