dd's MRI results on tues..feeling anxious!

dd 18mth (some of you may remember the saga) had a MRI on her foot 3 week ago, i had a call on thurs to say results are in and they want us to see the consultant on tues.

feeling very paranoid and anxious as when i rang i was told there was a 3 mth backlog on results being given, so i am thinking now something has been seen and that maybe it is serious.

couple of weeks ago, she couldnt walk on the foot again (couldnt weight bear again at all) only lasted a couple of hours, and i dreaded it was going to be a repeat of the 7 week she couldnt walk, but luckily she did put her foot down again after a couple of hrs, there must definately be a weakness there, as she walks funny/limps sometimes.

feeling sick and worried knowing i have to wait till tues

has anyone had a MRI lately and how quickly did they get their results?

TIA xx

Lilsmum, perhaps they just wanted you to have the results quickly because they know they've f*cked up big time with DD.

Please try to think that this is the case - I truly hope it is.

Loads of love to you and your gorgeous DD - how is she? Still being a total poppet? xxxxxx

I'd be worried too, but that's because that was what I was born to do! I always tell other people not to worry though - irritating baggage, aren't I?!

DS is lovely - has learnt to rub his hands together recently, which is hilarious as he looks like he's plotting things - is understanding all we say to him, which is incredible to see (I asked him to put the TV on earlier () and he did it!). Not walking yet, but I figure that all the language development is putting paid to that - and he's a demon crawler

Bump's OK - getting properly bumpy, which I hope will mean I get offered a seat on the blinking tube soon I've had people look at me in a "are you pg or fat" kind of way, then obviously decide I'm just fat and staying parked on their seat! LOL!

15 tomorrow - can you believe it?! I can't!

When I ask DS where the baby is, he leans into my tummy, goes "ahhhhhh" and kisses me! No, he could not be more cute

Isn't language development incredible! When I try to imagine back to when DS was born now, it's SO hard - trying to imagine him not smiling at us, for instance!

How are you doing on the health front yourself? I'm trying to remember now whether you are waiting for results/another appointment/both - sorry another pg brain here!

a week on Sunday, lilsmum!!!

So do you have to wait 3 months for the result of your MRI scan, or is that a different hospital/dept?

Keep me posted lilsmum, lets hope you hear something before 12 August. Personally I always think the waiting is the worst part.

Speaking of waiting....yup still here! Amazingly I'm not getting fed up yet (although I'm sure that as soon as I hit my due date I will start getting impatient), but experiencing loads of Braxton Hicks so I'm hoping it won't be long now
