Ds not very well

Ds has a bit of a temperature and is very tired. I have used the NHS webiste and that suggests dealing with him at home and not calling the doctor.
How long would you let it go on before taking him to the doctors? any tips about bringing down a temperture? I have given him capol.

Anyway, he seems ok, but because he is very hot he hasnt been sleeping and is very sluggish. Do you think it is ok to let him watch as much tv as he wants today because he is not well? He is 3 and I cant think of things to entertain him with because he has limited energy.

Thanks happy mum. Isnt it strange he is nearly 3 and I still panic when he is unwell! Thanks a lot for your ideas x

Keep his fluid intake up, as long as he is chatting although lethargic he is most likely OK ..and you never stop worrying about them when they are ill

Hope he is better later, if you are concerned see your gp..
