Because she has pushed a pea up her nose. In fact, she pushed 2 peas up her nose and I can only get one out.

She says they "fell upwards".

This is going to seem funny later on, isn't it.

fastasleep Mon 20-Jun-05 11:37:25

*tries so so so hard not to smile*

Aww WWB I hope you're not stuck there all day! And I hope it doesn't hurt!

HappyHuggy Mon 20-Jun-05 11:37:29

Oh no!

make sure you take a book and something to drink

you might be there a while......

QueenFlounce Mon 20-Jun-05 11:37:38

WWB - lol I did that with Tic Tacs when I was 3!!

The hospital just sent me away and said it would dissolve. I had a lovely minty taste in my mouth for a week after that.

wobblyknicks Mon 20-Jun-05 11:37:40

Oh no, its one of those days then. This will seem hilarious later but ((((hugs)))) for now!!!

Gobbledigook Mon 20-Jun-05 11:38:21

Oh WWW - had to laugh at they 'fell upwards' though!

What on earth is she doing with peas at this time of the morning?!

She'll be fine and yes, you'll laugh about it later!

WigWamBam Mon 20-Jun-05 11:38:26

She'd already shoved one up there that I got out, then came back because she'd shoved another two up.

This is gong to be one of those days.

RTKangaMummy Mon 20-Jun-05 11:38:34

OMG WWB sending you cyber hugs {{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}

Hopefully they will see her quickley

SoupDragon Mon 20-Jun-05 11:38:48

DS2 did this with a little plastic ball from an old national lottery pen. I managed to get him to snort it out though.

Hope she's OK!

coppertop Mon 20-Jun-05 11:38:52

Oh no! It's something you'll tease her about in a few years but I suspect it's not so funny right now.

katierocket Mon 20-Jun-05 11:39:11

my brother did this with a peanut once. FWIW it was funny later.

fastasleep Mon 20-Jun-05 11:39:27

Tell her she'll sprout a pea plant up there if it gets stuck forever... or something suitably morbid..

RTKangaMummy Mon 20-Jun-05 11:39:58

Hope this will be the end of her pea upwards episodes

Get the Dr to warn her it is not a good idea

wobblyknicks Mon 20-Jun-05 11:41:00

Tell her they won't be able to get them out next time and they'll go mouldy and give her gangrene and they'll have to amputate her nose

fastasleep Mon 20-Jun-05 11:41:21

wobbly that's a bit much!

WigWamBam Mon 20-Jun-05 11:41:57

I've got some fresh peas, which she likes to eat raw, but she's never done this with them before! I told her after the first one that it wasn't a good idea, but I think her brain is in neutral this morning.

Where's that flaming taxi?

WigWamBam Mon 20-Jun-05 11:42:25

RTKangaMummy Mon 20-Jun-05 11:42:57

Does she think it is funny or is she upset?

bubblerock Mon 20-Jun-05 11:43:09

LOL - bless her! DS1 found the ball part of my belly bar that I had lost and put it in his ear!! We had it removed in A&E, was very embarrasing

wobblyknicks Mon 20-Jun-05 11:43:12
