Can they? Surely they would fizzle + burn the nits? I have long wavy hair and can hardly get a nit comb through my hair even with conditioner. Was wondering if I should buy some straighteners and attack them that way, then do the combing? The nitty gritty comb is great for the dc's, but a PITA for my hair.
Disclaimer: for anyone who knows me in RL we don't have nits yet in my house. But someone at the nursery had them so I'm getting prepared now for when that dreaded day comes.
