The anaethetist thought I was 52 and it turns out he looked at the wrong column and he has 2 cataracts.

He asked me if I had 25 children and the nurse asked if she could have one.

LOL at selling your child. I am a bit concerned at the blind as a bat anesthesist. Bet that was confidence inspiring.

When we set off to get DS2 before going to the hospital we got to the end of the road and a hearse and funeral cortege went by. Later I put the radio on and they were talking about dying.
