What can I take. if anything, to stop nausea?

For the past several months I have suffered from morning nausea, lasting from when I wake to around 11/12 o'clock.

It is worst at different times of the month, so seems to be linked to hormones and men. cycle. And it seems to have stemmed from when I have had very high doses of HRT hormones in the past (about 18m agao now), followed by the Clomid (finished 6m ago). Not really been right since.

But the nausea really is starting to bug me. It is a horrible feeling, esp when I am trying to work.

It is very much like the feeling you get with morning sickness (although at least not actually being sick).

Is there anything you can take to stop the feeling?

(BTW wrist bands and ginger don't help)

I was about to say Ginger - sorry!

Have you tried Scopaderm? It's a seasickness remedy - little patches that go behind the ear.

Never heard of them; will have to have a look.

I did think of trying seasickness type tablets, but will they help with this kind of nausea?

There is a drug called something like Mollutanium (I'll check in a minute) which you buy from the chemist. It does work.

Thanks, will give it a go.

I was going to suggest motillum too - after ginger, of course, always the first step! You can get it on prescription as domperidone.

I had it for chemotherapy-related nausea. My chemo nurses were kind enough to point out that as the OTC motillum it was sold to help with hangovers. Obviously having been so ill I am now an utter lightweight (TO pretends she was well 'ard in her youth) so I've used it a couple of times.

Have you tried sipping peppermint tea, or other stomach-calming teas? I had a yogi (I think) one called stomach ease when I was having chemo.
