How healthy is healthy though?
We're not talking macrodiets are we?
I need to lose weight and I try to eat healthily but have never dieted in my life before. I have never needed to. But I have hit a bit of a wall and am filling out in places that I haven't before.

Ok, here's thread 15 for those who need it

NormaSknockers Sat 29-Aug-09 19:06:05

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

Wondered why I was chattering to myself on the other thread grin

So far I've lost a piss poor 11lbs (damn me & falling off the wagon all the time) & need to loose 2 stone & 2 lbs to reach my goal weight! I'm back on track today & following WW, also going to start running on Tuesday [eeek] [nervous]

BitOfFun Sat 29-Aug-09 19:14:26

Purepurple, I've never dieted either, and don't go for deprivation < glugs wine >, but I'm trying to eat more healthily so that I can get my energy and health back to be able to exercise a bit and then look at losing some weight gradually (about two stone). I've been sickly for the last year < channels Victorian maiden grin>, but I used to be able to kick ass at the gym and eat what I liked.

So we've all got different aims smile

(psst...and we just gossip and arse around really wink)

Right, I'm off to see if there's an X-factor thread, so see you all later, mwah!

You know we love you Shiney! grin Fingers crossed for weigh in Monday!

melmog Sat 29-Aug-09 19:56:25

Hi, I'm Mel and I'm still a newbie. I can never keep up so I just pop in as and when and miss all the good bits!

I need to lose weight, don't know how much as refuse to use my nasty, lying, evil scales.

I have two pairs of jeans I can no longer wear, but as of this weekend, I can do one pair of them up!! [Lying down on the bed]

Going to start swimming next week as dd1 will be starting pre school and dd2 is going into the sports centre creche.

This time next week, I'll be skin and bone!

NormaSknockers Sat 29-Aug-09 19:59:27

Well done Mel, getting them done up is still a positive step, even if it is laying down on the bed (that's how I do up pretty much most of my jeans grin)

NinjaRain Sat 29-Aug-09 20:16:20

Stamps foot - there is still 60 posts left on the old thread. We need to fill them up properally, the speed we move through them is rediculous enough without wasting them.

<snatches trill's thread keeping crown>
<sticks tongue out and refuses to induce self until old thread full>

grin

Well done DEM, keep em on the straight and narrow! grin

I wanted to lsoe half a stone. I have lost 5 lbs since I bought my posh scales, probably 6 or 7 overall, and I am not losing any more because my boobs are getting smaller. <stamps foot> So I am aiming to eat healthy-ish, maintain this weight (rather than creeping up as it was doing before) and chat a lot.
