I didn't see this one, are you OK?

If you go up to advanced search and put in the details it will find the thread for you. Advanced search is up there, above the moon.

I am, its MIL who has it and has had treatment. I am not at all familiar with this and there were a few people who had had soem experience of it. Were very helpful at the time, but as is always true of these things, many more questions have come up.

Sorry to hear about your MIL sunburn

I've had patients with this and you are right- it can be a nasty course. On the other hand a friend of my mum's was treated for the same nearly 10 years ago now and is doing fine at the moment (just lost the sight in that eye obviously).

It depends a lot on the size and type of melanoma.

Fingers crossed for you both, hope your MIL is the latter and does well.

its not spindle cell, its epithelail in nature.

her ct scan of liver looks "abnormal but unspecific in nature" She has been reffered to liver specialist.

questions relate to length of time it takes to report on, then inform patients about results of scan etc. Then referal time.

bump bump bump...

Hi Sunburn, I talked to you about the proton treatment.

Reporting times can vary a lot, especially if the CT needs to be reviewed by multiple radiologists which happens when it is indistinctly different.

If you aren't happy with how things are going, then I'd recommend talking to MILs consultant
