They smell like death...worse than death.

Worse still they fall out during the big O!

I can't exactly spit at that moment now can I?

They also fall out when I yawn <can also be during sex> grin

Or, when I hock a lugey <not often as am honestly most ladylike>

Am I some kind of human/frog hybrid - what is going on in my membranes???????

Answers on a postcard please.

Honk balls?

I don't know what you're talking about. Have I led a sheltered life?

IFishWife Thu 06-Aug-09 21:48:06

Oh Lord...I just don't know what else to call them!

Little green balls of yuckness stuck at the top of ones throat???

Lugey (phlegm, roughly speaking).

Have I TMI'd you out yet? (apologies)

comewhinewithme Thu 06-Aug-09 21:51:27

You might have tooth decay or a throat infection.

My MIL had little balls of stuff coming out of her mouth and she said they smelt like rotten meat <boak> turned out to be a rotten tooth.

Think your best bet is GP.

Goober Thu 06-Aug-09 21:52:24

They are bogies dear.

Stop eating them and wash your mouth out!

IFishWife Thu 06-Aug-09 21:56:03

Ooh er, gross on toast.

No, def not bogies..bogies would be a positive relief from these monsters.

Yes, they are rotting, but they are coming from nowhere near my teeth.

Near where my nose tubes hit my throat.

They are most uncomfortable whilst lodged there.

Could they be trapped food?

drinkyourmilk Thu 06-Aug-09 21:57:31

Sinus infection?

girlandboy Thu 06-Aug-09 21:58:10

tonsil stones

notsoteenagemum Thu 06-Aug-09 21:59:55

I used to get those when I was little from my tonsils they were so rotten they disintegrated when I had them removed.

IFishWife Thu 06-Aug-09 22:00:10

No, no, not an infection.

I know this is slightly by stealth but I have had this on and off for......over 10 years.

Sometimes I have bouts of a couple of years with nothing...then suddenly they return.

Disenchanted3 Thu 06-Aug-09 22:01:12

tonsil stones

IFishWife Thu 06-Aug-09 22:03:53

That's the bugger.

Heavens to betsy, how did you figure that out Disenchanted?

Please say I am not alone???

Or are you just rather deft with Monsieur Google?

SixtyFootDoll Thu 06-Aug-09 22:10:46

I have had this on and off
the stench is dreadful
thougth it was just me being odd

fatzak Thu 06-Aug-09 22:14:04

I didn't ever know that there is a medical term for tonsil stones! My tonsils are yak and I wish they'd take them out as they are always huge and manky. When I was young I could poke out the ball of ick with my tongue shock

IFishWife Thu 06-Aug-09 22:15:27

<gathers fellow honkball/tonsil stone suffers to her bosom>

<It smells nicer there, honest>

What do we think causes this?????

SixtyFootDoll Thu 06-Aug-09 22:17:56

I always have arunny nose
maybe its related to that?
God I sound delightful dont I>

notyummy Thu 06-Aug-09 22:19:06

I wish I hadn't clicked on that link.

I also have tonsil issues - although not quite like this...

<feeling slightly queasy>

fatzak Thu 06-Aug-09 22:19:26

I always thought it was food stuck in the craters of my tonsils blush

We really are gorgeous grin

IFishWife Thu 06-Aug-09 22:21:25

I think that's what it is too Fatzak.

<I'm pretty, does that help?>

My nose has never run Sixty, but I have had allergies of a mild sort all my life. Hayfever, dust etc, so that area does tend to get inflamed...

baseW Thu 06-Aug-09 22:25:01

Hi IFishWife,
I used to suffer exactly the same problem!!!blush.
Believe it or not it is food that is getting trapped in your tonsils. This happened to me lots of times and it was grotty. Went to the doctor who referred me to ENT and they confirmed just that. My tonsils were that large and they also have folds and holes that food gets trapped inside. When it then becomes full it just comes out in a ball and yup smells like it should be coming out of the other end!!!!
Have since had tonsils out and never had problem again!! grin
Hope that helps

IFishWife Thu 06-Aug-09 22:26:37

Oh bless you I have to pluck up courage to see GP tiresome.

But hey, tonsils out means a few days in bed and some lie ins, right?

<loves her tonsil stones>

OnlyWantsOne Thu 06-Aug-09 22:29:30

I have this blush they are small, about half the size of a grain of rice. they stink.

I have tonsil problems and the back of my nose / throat is sore and red... worth going to see GP?
