TrillianAstra Thu 06-Aug-09 17:33:25

Had to mark territory y'know.

Plus it's funny when you're telling everyone to fill up the old thread or feel my wrath.

I'd like them to put their recipies in the searchable MN recipes database too, but do they do that? Noooo.

Just marking my place for when wine is open DS's are in bed and DH is out.

Am going to run for 30mins to give me some extra calories to play with.

Glad your DD is OK Syc, I didn't comment before as I loathe dogs and get quite het up about it blush

Well done on your weight loss FAB smile

Well hello there..

The red onion in my salad at lunch has not agreed with me - have indigestion.

Still full so I am thinking of having just toast for tea - well actually, there ain't a lot else to have.

Well done FAB on your weight loss.

differentID Thu 06-Aug-09 17:45:40

Marking the thread. We had meatballs in Ikea for lunch. Having Pasta bolognese for tea.

<must buy scales>

But my trousers are a bit looser.

Will be excusing myself from being good this weekend- It's my birthday tomorrow so a meal out with dh in cardiff before going to the theatre and friends coming over on saturday = cake.

Have been eating lots of salady stuff too though and did not give in and buy that tub of Strawberry swirl ice cream.

Why are you all posting on here? Get back over to the old thread and finish it!

<secretly marking place whilst telling people off. Genius grin )

SycamoretreeIsFullOfResolve Thu 06-Aug-09 19:29:40

Ahhhh, DC's now actually, really in bed. DH home from his bi monthly day at the office and all is well in the world.

I'm going to be honest about what I ate today. If any of you can be arsed please comment and tell me where I'm going wrong. Will be really, really honest.

Breakfast
Cup of tea
0% fat yoghurt
Handful of blueberries (generous)
Handful of almonds (small)
Big squeeze of unmeasured honey

Midmorning DC's had an ice-cream at the park after the dog incident as they were both so traumatised and so was I.

I did a lot of licking of melty bits and bit some off DS's as it was too unwieldy (genuinely). At this point I can honestly say if there weren't about 30 people on the cafe benches I would have spat the ice cream out as I was still SycfullofRESOLVE.

At up DC's leftover chicken sandwiches at lunch.
Then had the remaining half of my 6 point pizza bianca with lettuce with just lemon juice squeezed on.

A bag of WW crisps.

The DC's leftover little bits of shepherds pie (not loads - about 4 spoonfuls).

Some wafer thin chicken out of the fridge.

6 choc raisins, a percy pig and 2 jelly babies. blush

Count on us Chicken Chow Mein 4 points.

That's it so far. It seems clear to me that being at home with the kids is very bad for my RESOLVE.

Any insights folks? Or strategies?

SycamoretreeIsFullOfResolve Thu 06-Aug-09 19:31:30

Jaq - no sign of your package yet? sad

<syc promises she hasn't made it up and twas genuinely sent!>

DidEinsteinsMum Thu 06-Aug-09 19:35:06

No left overs, your picking not eating meals, chocolate raisins and jelly babies and honey is 100% sugar and thus high calories.

Keep some healthier snacks very close to hand

<throw boot in this direction for not practising what just preached blush>

Failing it throw for cheek
