I am just asking as i have been feeling unwell for the past couple of days, i have been trying to ignore it + just concentrate on the kids, but i have hardly any energy. I know what the government say are the symptoms. I just wondered if anyone here had it so you could tell me how you actually felt. Ta peeps.

Thanks for responding lovemyshoes. Was their temp really high. Or do you know if it differed in each of them. How did they get it diagnosed.

DH has had it.

He didn't know, just assumed it was a bad cold. He is having surgery today and went to see his consultant yesterday who when DH described his symptoms said 'Yeah, you've almost definitely had it MrSausageRocket'.

We're not dead. Yet.

Consultant said that because the flu only really lasts 2 or 3 days many people are not bothering to go the GP for a dx. Most are just riding it out and moving on.

A couple complained of a temperature going above 38 but other didn't have one, so I really do think it varies.

It still confuddles me as to how they can differentiate over the phone whether it is normal flu or swine flu.

Ive just done the online assessment thing and have been given a code for tamiflu but i'm not sure whether to get it or not as I don't know for definate if I have swine flu. I basically feel like I have been beaten up. Everywhere hurts, neck, glands , head, legs, arms, shooting pains under my ribs, feel nausious and have a temp. But I havent had a sore throat or a cough and my nose isn't runny either so I don't know what to do. I hope it goes soon because it is truly horrible.
