Awwww - thanks - that was quick!

Flossam, am having a pelvic scan as I've had hip probs for years (4 ops) & they think I may have a cyst trapping a nerve.

Hi Milliways. hope it goes ok. I've had a couple and although it's quite odd it's not really all that unpleasant. Lie back (not that you get a choice!, shut your eyes and transport yourself to a nice hot beach with sunshine and the sound of the sea. Just block it all out. good luck

A friend had classical but found it too quiet and so could hear the banging

Well - that was ok

Very nice radiographer, very fasionable hospital gown

I was fortunate to be tall enough for my eyes to be out the other end of the machine. WHole thing took about 30 mins. No choice of music, but the classical stuff that they provided was ok. My only problem was that my feet felt very cold out the other end, and i was dying to move my arms to scratch my nose!

Now to await the results in June. Thank you for all your support.

Ta - thought of the Kanga family whilst in the scanner. Les Mis music would have gone down well!
