Have namechanged as I know dh sometimes noses around here and he would be very anti me discussing sex on a forum! We have had a stressful few months we work together and have been on a big project and exhausted and our usual 3-4 times a week has dwindled and have had sex only about once a month in the last 3 months.I am not worried about the emotional toll of this at all as we have done this before 3 kids etc etc.But the last time and now today I have had real aches in my thighs and pelvis enough to take painkillers. Not a UTI or anything as saw doctor who did every test and found nothing. Is this normal and just because I am a bit out of practice?feel like I have been riding a bike for hours and have been really worried.Am planning to have sex every bloody night if need be to stop this.

just muscular ache? have you been using muscles you haven't used regularly other than your monthly rumpy pumpy?

or different kind of ache?

Yes definitely muscular.I am wondering if it is like other exercise and because I have been doing it a lot less this is the result.have seen the gynaecologist and he found nothing. It doesn't feel like infection as I feel well.

if its definately muscular i was suggest more sex to see if it goes away. or some sort of workout dvd that does lots of thigh/leg workout if thats easier. give it a bash. see if it helps.

personally it must be a great incentive to get more action between the sheets to se if it works . have fun

if i've been out of practice for a bit. i often get sore inner thighs and sometimes the muscle where you bum connects to your lower back. lasts for couple of days.

exercise bike might not hit the right muscles iykwim.

i use that davina total workout. you can just do an initial 20 mins workout. anymore is up to you what body sections you add on. great for stamina too. and if 20 mins is all you can spare its ideal. its really simple to follow. not like some dvds where you need to be a choreographer to keep up with what they are doing

Endometriosis may be a possible cause but the usual way this is diagnosed is through laparoscopy (keyhole surgery).

I get this too- I know exactly what you mean. I am not really out of practice, either. I have not seen my GP yet but mentioned it to a doctor friend who suggested it may be adhesions from my C-sections (did you have c-sections too soosoo?) I also get it in the first couple of days of my period- I use a mooncup, so it is definitely the penetration that is the problem.

Please let me know if you get any helpful advice!
