well i have ibs was diagnosed last year , had flex sigmoidoscopy last year and biopsys all came back normal , he did see a sizeable amount of internal piles of which i may want to do something about if cause problems , so with this in mind im hoping that this was why the other morning i had a show if blood when i wiped after BM ...sorry so graphic ...havent had this before, well once over a year ago , i do know that the day before this i bought loads of nuts and seeds as read somewhere that these r good for bowels .. so did eat a large amount that afternoon ..which did give me a prickly BM ....have laid off the nuts since then and hasnt happened again wondered anyone els has had similar ?

hi, i have health anxiety and ibs also, i know how you feel. I'm going through a partcularly difficult time at the moment. I've also had problems on and off with piles, at the moment i'm being treated for piles but my anxiety is sky high. I would think if you've been told that you have piles then there is good chance that they are causing the bleeding. Do you have any pain or discomfort while having a bowel movement? maybe you should go to your gp just to confirm that they are causing the bleeding. Hope you feel better soon.
