And i've got a fever shock and sore throat....

what do you think?

where are you?

Swine flu is chacterised by sudden onset fever and cough, not D&V. I think they would say if it were a swine flu scare.

There is a nasty D&V virus going round my part of London. Maybe it's that.

the stuff we have had is fever and sore thorats,
the note said that some kids have had vom and diarrhoea too.

We had a very very nasty vom and di bug about a month agao- that was a mess in this house!

We got over that- this one is def a different bug...
but maybe not swine flu.

We are going to family for a get together this weekend- but i'm worried that if it is somehting nasty we'll give it to my birth mum who has all sorts of nasty surgery recently.

I'm sure they'll let us know from the school.
Now i need a plan for the day..

d&v is a characteristic of this flu for some people along with the more usual flu symptoms. If you have fever and sore throat best stay at home until they know one way or another. (I'm sure you'll know in a day or two)

I hope that whatever it is, it resolves quickly for you.

I'm not too bad.
Eye is nearly there now- maybe will need another treatment in a couple of weeks...

Hi oops - apart from a cold (lol!) I'm fine thanks

I'm really pleased that your eye is getting there. Thats fab news! How've you found the treatment?

Does sound like they are considering it as a possibility.

Am off out for the day in a few minutes (one of dhs epic bike rides - help) So will catch up later

oh crumbs. Well, if you've all had it now that at least gives you some immunity for the winter.
