could it be aqn allergy - new socks? long grass? Try giving her some antihistamine and a bath

Try putting a cold flannel on them. Or an antihistimine cream. Or take piriton/benadryl syrup

i would give her a bath and get all the chlorine off her. If you have any cream if any kind, it will help.

perhaps it's chlorine - give her a bath and rub in some moisturiser

Haven't got any antihistamine stuff .

No new socks, haven't changed powder or anything

Stronger chlorine than usual maybe? Odd that it's just her legs in that case.

Sometimes, if they think you've given them a medicine that will help, it does

my legs are sometimes a bit itchy after swimming - the more you scratch the worse it is.. Moisturiser/body lotion helps

Thanks all , she's got cold flannels on them now, she said it is helping.

It was just that My son two years ago complained for a few days of sore legs especially the joints at the back and it turned out it was HSP. Its probably not what your dd has got but if she develops a purple rash at the tops of her legs then thats what it will be. Please don't be alarmed I'm not trying to scare you it just sounds the same symptoms. But as your daughter has been swimming it may be the water. Hope she gets better soon.
