Just realised everytime we are not well I'm running out to buy somethng! It's a PITA.

So just wondered does anyone have a box for this typeof stuff and what do you always ahve in? Also need a first aid box blush

I don't have it all in box as I have an extensive medicine cabinet but I always have: bandage, plasters in lots of sizes plus spray-on, savlon-type stuff, dettol, sharp scissors and an ice pack (in fridge). The tweezers have disappeared. We never run out of paracetamol for adults or children, and always have anti-histamines for both.

In the rest of my medicine cabinet I have various cough linctuses and medicines ranging from sweets to suck to DH-strength benadryl.

And an ear thermometer!

Band Aids
Sterile Dressings
Antiseptic Wipes
Rescus mask
Ice Pack
Space Blanket
Anti Itch cream/Spray
Calamine Lotion
Aloe Vera gel
Plastic Bag
Permanant pen

And a few other things that I am sure I have forgotten. I also have a lot of other things that are sourced from hospitals etc. Mine is quite extensive though. I come from a medical and search and rescue background though.

Not all in a single box but we always have in -

Big dressings (Melolin are one brand) - good for grazes a plaster won't cover
Savlon cream
Crepe bandages for binding strained wrists (you may not feel any need of these, DH always seems to be straining wrists with DIY etc)
Tweezers for chasing splinters etc

Paracetamol tablets and liquid
Antihistamine tablets (and liquid when DS was smaller)
Karvol capsules for blocked noses (usually mine!)
Cold/flu all-in-one tablets
Indigestion tablets
Rehydration sachets for D&V
Throat pastilles/cough sweets

Oh yes and Anthisan cream (surface antihistamine, great for bites and nettle stings)
