we have just found out that a good friend has been diagnosed with severe ovarian cancer, she has had an op and they have removed a fair amount but out of 10 said she has a 3-4 chance therefore not good. She is now recieving cemo. Has anyone out there had it or know someone who has and can give any advice traditional medicine or alternative. also I want to put together a package for her of things to make her feel better any ideas?

my aunty had it, for 7 years she battled it at one point was in remession althou they wouldn't say that, they gave her 2 weeks, and she lived for another 6.5 yrs after that! she sadly died 2 years ago this past february, but I can honestly say she didn't give up not once and she was an inspiration to us all. She was under Royal Marsden in London, they had her on all kinds of drugs, most of which I don't know rat poison was one to thin her blood or something.

Good luck (((hugs))) I know how hard it is.

to be honest at her worst in those first few weeks, we all sat around basically waiting for her to die, (she had a growth the size of a melon) she decided she wanted a family day out at chessington so that's what we all did. all I can say is be there give support and pray, I will for you today. if she does have morphine, yes it's horrible yes she will be spaced out a bit but honestly it does help. ((((hugs))))
