Mine is a pint of water before bed, more if you can manage it.

Then in the morning coca cola and white bread toast. It works!

Also no red wine and no rum in the first place.

Stick to the light coloured stuff. The darker the drink, the worse the headache.

go for a run or a brisk walk or to the gym and do cardio till you break out in a serious sweat.

shower.

then flat, full Coke (no diet) or Irn Bru.

eat a fry up and you'll be right as rain.

Berocca on waking, then a cup of tea and scrambled eggs on toast.

And don't dwell indoors-get your hungover arse out in the fresh air.

or irn bru and pkt monster munch

Dioralyte (can't spell it!!) is a fab cure - if you could get one down your neck before you go to bed and then another in the morning with some painkillers job would be a good un.

Coke and carbs and a walk along a pier in a brisk wind also help!

expatinscotland · 30/12/2008 20:31

sometimes it's better if you just make yourself sick.

then go and work up a sweat.

then shower.

then have something to eat and that flat Coke or Irn Bru.

lemonade & ready salted crisps

saltiresaysSANTA · 30/12/2008 20:37

Irn Bru - proper Barrs stuff, not any other kind. A fry up.
Taking 2 paracetamol and a glass of water before actually getting into bed helps as well.
I don't get hangovers, or at least if I stick to vodka I don't.

cyteen · 30/12/2008 20:40

loads of water + 2 ibuprofen before bed
long hot bath in the morning (when you feel able i.e. not too faint and shaky)
bowl of spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce/bowl of fresh tomato soup
