I think it would be iron that would be the worry so you're ok on that score. I think the rest is likley to give him the runs at worst. I'm not an expert though so i hope he's ok.

If NHS Direct have a really long queue you could try talking to your local pharmacist - they are usually really helpful.

Call an ambulance - I don't know the levels but an overdose can be fatal for kids - it's the iron level.

Can you make him sick? Salt water drink might do it. They won't burn him on the way up anyway.

try and get him to vomit, stick your fingers down his throat , it should mostly come out.
ds, aged 6 ate about half that amount. they were the yummy chewy kind. dsis, a doctor, wasnt worried at all. didnt even insist on the vomitting. although she did consider sticking a pencil in other ds's throat to clear his airway ( a thoractomy i think) when he was choking on a boiled sweet that very week

Stretch - I am thinking that is because they want to avoid risk of choking. I can't see any other reason not to.

It's not like its caustic, I know that's best not vommed up again if swallowed as it burns you twice then.
