mini pill injection. How long is it in my system???

I've had the mini pill injection that lasts 12 weeks about 16 weeks ago. Not having it again because it didn't agree with me but haven't yet had a period. How long should it effect me and when should my body get back to normal? starting to think I may need to worry, don't want another baby yet just had one 5 months ago!! Any one got any advice please?

could take several months to completely go out of your system - but you can't rely on it as a contraceptive after 12 weeks.

I had my last depo injection in July 04, and I still haven't had a period.
