Would anyone be kind enough to support a breast cancer charity? anorak is doing a fun walk on Wednesday.

I am doing the BF&M Breast Cancer Fun Walk in Bermuda on Weds 8th October.

Many of my mumsnet friends will know that I spent most of this year undergoing breast cancer treatment myself. I had a mastectomy and five months chemotherapy.

But I was lucky - I am still here and in the fortunate position of being well again and able to try and put something back for the next person.

I would be very grateful for any donations to my chosen charity, Breast Cancer Campaign. I have set up a justgiving page here

TIA for any responses I may receive.

I note with interest, that my learned friend is not taking on the octopus challenge.

I'll have you know that not only do I eat octopus, but I actually cooked one a few weeks ago, so there!

My remarks about your picnic were all because it was so posh compared with my picnic - which consisted of a couple of cheese sandwiches and an apple if I remember rightly.

Thanks for the extra donation Bree.

I will have to cook an octopus in your honour. You can buy them in any supermarket here.

TMH, thank you for trying. I wonder what happened? I've closed my paypal account because there were complications with being overseas, so that's no good.

Why don't you donate what you wanted to to the BC charity of your choice - it doesn't matter if it's linked to me specifically or not, does it? Thanks.
