It hurt at first but then didn't so I didn't put anything on it. What's the best treatment or shall I just leave it alone now?

Do you mean it's a blister?

Just leave it alone.

Maybe run some cold water over it, or put some aloe vera on it if you have any, but it's just a burn, it will heal quite quickly of its own accord.

cold compress. raised red wheals are normal for burns.

It's still worth the cold water- you can put in in a bowl of iced water. If you have any in an anti-inflammatory would help e.g. nurofen.

try lots of cold water then pat dry, then Bicarbonate of soda - put a heap of it on some sort of dressing or tissue, put it on the burnt bit and keep it there overnight. Have absolutely no clue why but it works fantastically for skirmishes in kitchen/ironing.

I posted this just before I put my DS to bed and then forgot about it! No, not a blister. I do have some sudocrem (of course - vats of the stuff ) so I will do a cold compress and then try that. I'm quite tempted by the bicarb idea but I chucked mine out as it had gone hard. It's not a very easy place to immerse in water as it's half way up my arm on the inside so I'd have to stick my whole arm in a bucket

Lavener oil. It is magic. I use it on all burns, rashes, stings and bites. It takes the pain out instantly and is natural.

I wish pointy! I couldn't think what to call it. I was worried that if I said baking tray someone might think I was being all Nigella. I did make my own oven chips though!

Leave it alone.

When it is dry put some vitamin E cream on it, it aids healing.
