[[ http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/stephs-fight-for-avastin the petition and a link to her story]]. If anyone feels able to sign I would be grateful and I'm sure they would too. I have never met Steph, but her partner looked after all 3 of my boys at various times. They just want the extra time this drug will give them. Apparently the petition will be taken to the appeal.

There's more detail here. Does anyone know what they mean by 'exceptional circumstances' is that medically exceptional (i.e. more likely to respond because of type of tumour) or exceptional in terms of 'my life is worth more than average so fund my treatment'. AWFUl if the latter.

Hi there,

I just wanted to say that many clinical trials with avastin are currently looking for patients.

You can try www.clinicaltrials.gov to see if there are any and what areas...

It might help.
