Could be cellusitus?

KatyMac Fri 26-Sep-08 01:19:16

I agree

What's cellusitus - should I goggle?

I had a swollen hand/wrist once - a cat bite became infected. Antibiotics sorted it out. Doc asked me if I was a fish filleter (?!?, erm, no..).
Was in Grimsby at the time and many folk got this weird infection from knicks and cuts working with fish (bones and knives)

KatyMac Fri 26-Sep-08 01:23:08

No fish
Cat well behaved

I think virus which mean GP will say - go away

Gingerbear Fri 26-Sep-08 01:25:36

don't google. You become hypocondriac.
At least doc will put your mind at rest.
If not bring out a big stun gun and order a cart.

I told the Dr I was a hypochondriac about 2 ys ago her said 'But Katymac, you have everything you think you have.....I have never met anyone who catches stuff like you' - but at least I knew there was one thing I didn't have

Gingerbear Fri 26-Sep-08 01:29:01

Go get honey and hot lemon, a snugly blanket and try and get some sleep.

(I sound like my mother...)

Sorry that was 20yrs ago not 2....mind you I was later diagnosed with ME - I actually wonder how long I had, had it when it was diagnosed

I have 5 tests for glandular fever in 3 yrs all negative

Gingerbear Fri 26-Sep-08 01:35:21

Oh, sorry, not laughing now, just funny that your GP agreed with you about hypochondria.
ME dreadful. My best mate at uni had it after glandular fever and had to retake a year. Took years for her to recover.

Gingerbear Fri 26-Sep-08 01:35:54

Go to bed woman!

KatyMac Fri 26-Sep-08 01:38:02

I'll try

I just can't catch it

KatyMac Fri 26-Sep-08 06:14:40

My hands are a better

My cold is still awful

KatyMac Fri 26-Sep-08 06:23:18

Oh - now a foot has done this

I think I have had enough. please take this cold away now = I want it to go
