I was given an injection (in not quite normal circumstances) about 5 weeks ago. I still have a lump about the size of a 20p where it was given on my arm .Is this normal or should I get it checked out? It still feels sore and bruised although there is nothing visible.

SORRY! just realised I put " months" in title - meant 5 weeks.

I had an intra-muscular injection that hit the wrong spot, leaving the area achy and numb. It took 7 months to feel OK again. Sorry, not much help....

Maybe get it checked out, mine had hit a nerve...
