chicken pox , am i safe to go out !!!!

my ds 1 has got chicken pox, spots appeared 3 days ago, my ds2 has been exposed to it too but has no signs or symptoms of chicken pox , would love to take ds2 out while my mum babysits ds1, i have already had cp what i would like to know is would ds2 be a risk to other children, pregnant women ect ? as am getting cabin fever couped up !!!!

he will be infectious for a few days before showing symptoms, so it would be better in theory not to go out. However, afaik, it is hard to pass it on before becoming symptomatic, unless he is in close contact with others. If you just go out a walk away from others it would be fine, but possibly best to avoid busy kid filled areas.
