Just off to get dd1's eyes tested. What fun! Everytime we go she is scared to death of the torch light being shone in her eyes. Let's hope it's gonna be alright this time. They show her the magic eye pictures too and she can see all of them. I can't see a blimmin' thing on them.

Do you have to put those special eye drops in first? I've been given some anaestethic eye drops for my ds to use before the other eye drops as he reacted quite badly last time.

are those magic eye things the pictures you can just make out. I couldn't see much either. No idea whether ds1 could- he refused to look at them (optician gave up and sent him to the local hospital to be checked).

DD does need eyedrops. The appointment went well and the torchlight was no problem at all. Her eyes are fine.

Hi, I collected my DD's new glasses today. She is 14 & over the moon that she has got designer frames. In the half price D&A sale they workes out cheaper than the non-designer pairs. (Her head is too big for any child pairs now so hard to get any subsidy on frames. D&A allow £40 off the marked price with a voucher. Some give nothing!)
