Hi there, I suffer from cluster migraine once or twice a year, for the last 8 years, so have tried lots of remedies.
I was given a nasal spray from the doctor called zomig. These come in a pack of 6 and are quite expensive from the gps point of view, but they worked for me. The last medication i tried worked even better for me. These were called Maxalt melt wafers 10mg. These wafer like tablets disolved on the tongue and were very effective, generally working for me within 20-30 mins. I swear by Fore head stick too. This can be bought at the pharmacy and Tesco stock it too. This is a menthol cooling stick which you rub on the fore head. This is wonderful! Generally as soon as you feel one coming, rub on the stick, take your medication and head to bed. This dealt with the headache. I then had to have beta blockers called propranolol to take for about 2-3 months which stopped them, Hurrah. Best of luck Any other questions please ask and i will try and reply
