They are on the very highest shelf in the kitchen. He climbed on several things to get there.

He has either eaten the foil or one 20mg capsule. He just says yeh to both in a vague way

Worried He's fine in himself, but it is just minutes since it happened.

Aah X posts.

Now go and lock the rest in a big metal box!

Report
psychomum5 · 15/08/2008 09:58

assuming you will now be buying lockable cupboards to put him in store all your precious stuff!

Report
Flamesparrow · 15/08/2008 10:00

Believe me - I am on freecycle for a box now, and if no luck by the end of the day I will be buying one.

Apparently it would take 3 pills to cause symptoms, and 5 before they do anything.

did they say what it could do to him tho???

I mean, would this mean he will just be very very sleepy for the next day or so.....(not that you need him to sleep or anything)

Report
psychomum5 · 15/08/2008 10:01

will it take away his climbing skills.....

this reminds me of when I didn't bother ringing nhs 24 and just took dd2 to a and e as she had been at 100mg slow release voltarol

very old sachet in very old jacket (dh used to need them with him everywhere)

cleaning out cupboard, didn't notivce them fall out of jacket

no idea how many were in it
dound her with one in her mouth and one very sucked and more on floor

could have had 10 in the sachet but was only 5 in view

spent 6 hours in the childrens ward with a completely fine and bubbly dd2

pronounced totally fine, probably just sucked off the colour of one and didn't bother cause they tatse gross

Rare moment of praise for NHS Direct - they were really really good. Answered just before I pressed send on the OP, so within 10 mins had sorted it.

Very reassuring nurse. Told me exactly what she was doing all the time.
