If I get on a plane on Friday will my head EXPLODE?

Cause I am bunged up with flu. Ears completely blocked and can barely hear. ds1 and I both have diahhrea. the heat is diabolical....

Hmm not about head exploding but might you not pass it on to everyone on the plane?

i'm not coughing and sneezing much anymore

damn plane is probably where I caught it in first place.

I am worried about eardrums bursting tbh. the pressure in there is already immense without the added pleasure of lift-off and landing x4.

Yeah tbh hand washing is bigger factor in passing on germs anyway.

I'm sure your head won't explode but I flew recently with a heavy cold and the pain in my ears was horrendous. I swore I would never fly ill again!

If you can't clear the tubes, you do risk damage to your eardrums, I'm afraid, and it can be very painful too. Do try to get some kind of decongestant even if you wouldn't normally take them.
