My 5 week old ds is starting to get it - how do i stop it or keep it under control, but stopping it would be nicer as he s so early I think I could do it?

Foolproof way to get it off is rub olive oil over it before bed, wash it off in the bath the next morning. You may need to use a babybrush/comb to lift it if it is stubborn to shift. ALWAYS works.

I always put the baby shampoo on then gently rubbed with a very sot toothbrush and it all came off.

I know cradle cap is normal, but I hated the look of it. It always makes babies look dirty and unclean imo so I preferred to keep it at bay. A couple of my children also got it slightly in their eyebrows, but I just gently rubbed it off with my thumb nail. Maybe mine didn't have proper cradle cap actually, but slightly different skin there as it always came off really easily.
