Ok, talk long cycles and testing to me! A confused Flamesparrow here!

So, saga has been on many threads now

Copper coil strings awol. Waiting for a scan to see if they are tucked up (most likely), if the coil has shifted out of place (less likely), or if it has fallen out (very much unlikely).

I don't know how long it has been hiding.

If it has been out of place a little while, then conception was possible around 5th.

I have a 5 week cycle, but ovulate around the 12-14 day mark still.

Period due by Monday at the latest.

Tested yesterday and was negative.

Have been feeling sick since Monday - it eases with food and water. Norks are huge (bra I got a week ago is now producing 4 nork effect, I normally get a bit bigger before period, but not huge like this). Keep having nosebleeds (common with me with too many hormones &/or anaemia). Been falling asleep by about 8.30pm each night.

Given the longer cycle - would it have shown up on a test yesterday (it would if I had a 28 day cycle and ov follows that system, but I don't know and am confused).

I know none of you can tell me until I have a period, but just an "ooh it is very unlikely it wouldn't have shown up yesterday" or an "ooh no, it won't show up until you are due" would be very helpful

I wanna know why I feel like hell!

ahh flame!!

to tell if you are in fact pregnant- spin around on the spot 8 times whilst blancing an orange on your head reciting every nappy name you can think of- by the end of that you won't care one way or the other but will be chasing me round with a pitchfork!!

tbh- its incredibly unlikely, but not impossible

i didn't test + until i was nearly 7 weeks gone btw! flatly refused to believe the early scan!!

I know someone who didn't show pos on a pg test aswell as a BLOOD test. She had all the pg symptoms. She went into hosp and had an unrelated scan to be told she was 21wks pg.

I didn't show pos until I was a week overdue.

Another flameboy or flamegirl? Sounds like it! Will this be good or bad news?

try another test? I know you have them

All you can do is keep testing and you will either get a positive or come on your period eventually! When is scan?

WBPA - I can't believe the twins are 7months!!! Crazy.

test when you get to the longest your cycle has ever been - for me its 56 days (a freaky one off NOT the none eating kind of wait )

Flamesparrow · 24/07/2008 14:00

It appears to be over. Started spotting so assuming it will happen properly tomorrow.

I'm gonna have to cancel the doctor appointment though (got one on saturday for another coil rummage).

Still feeling sick, sore and huge

And now very because the longer it went on, the more I got my head round it. DH says he isn't sure he even wants a third.

Oh, just started reading thread and was not very secretly wishing that you were.

for cramps.

Now get over to Feb thread and answer my question re dates!

DH says he doesn't even know if he wants a third. I think mainly because I am insane and don't cope with the ones we already have

Thirds are fun - I suspect flamesparrow already thinks that though and it's Mr Flamesparrow we need to bludgeon with our tales of how you hardly notice the extra baby etc.

x posted. Just want to add that even if you don't want to go for it mow, doesn't mean never. I have a 10 yr old, a 7 year old and a 15 mth old - and contrary to what everyone thinks the 15 mth old was the most planned of the lot! I love having a big gap and have found it much easier to cope with than two or three under five. I know quite a lot of people with similar gaps actually and it's lovely. (I'm typing this whilst dd3 is downstairs with her highly responsible and mostly sensible sisters)
