Ok, talk long cycles and testing to me! A confused Flamesparrow here!

So, saga has been on many threads now grin

Copper coil strings awol. Waiting for a scan to see if they are tucked up (most likely), if the coil has shifted out of place (less likely), or if it has fallen out (very much unlikely).

I don't know how long it has been hiding.

If it has been out of place a little while, then conception was possible around 5th.

I have a 5 week cycle, but ovulate around the 12-14 day mark still.

Period due by Monday at the latest.

Tested yesterday and was negative.

Have been feeling sick since Monday - it eases with food and water. Norks are huge (bra I got a week ago is now producing 4 nork effect, I normally get a bit bigger before period, but not huge like this). Keep having nosebleeds (common with me with too many hormones &/or anaemia). Been falling asleep by about 8.30pm each night.

Given the longer cycle - would it have shown up on a test yesterday (it would if I had a 28 day cycle and ov follows that system, but I don't know and am confused).

I know none of you can tell me until I have a period, but just an "ooh it is very unlikely it wouldn't have shown up yesterday" or an "ooh no, it won't show up until you are due" would be very helpful grin

I wanna know why I feel like hell!

ahh flame!! smile

to tell if you are in fact pregnant- spin around on the spot 8 times whilst blancing an orange on your head reciting every nappy name you can think of- by the end of that you won't care one way or the other but will be chasing me round with a pitchfork!! grin

tbh- its incredibly unlikely, but not impossible <<preggers looks at sweet pair of 7mo twins sitting happily watching mummy 'work' who were the result of a fallen out coil [bucket fanjo]grin>>

i didn't test + until i was nearly 7 weeks gone btw! flatly refused to believe the early scan!!

walkinthewoods Thu 24-Jul-08 12:22:11

I know someone who didn't show pos on a pg test aswell as a BLOOD test. She had all the pg symptoms. She went into hosp and had an unrelated scan to be told she was 21wks pg.

I didn't show pos until I was a week overdue.

Another flameboy or flamegirl? Sounds like it! Will this be good or bad news?

whoops Thu 24-Jul-08 12:27:08

try another test? I know you have them grin

Ewe Thu 24-Jul-08 12:33:19

All you can do is keep testing and you will either get a positive or come on your period eventually! When is scan?

WBPA - I can't believe the twins are 7months!!! Crazy.

BlueDragonfly Thu 24-Jul-08 12:34:42

test when you get to the longest your cycle has ever been - for me its 56 days (a freaky one off NOT the none eating kind of wait wink)

Flamesparrow Thu 24-Jul-08 14:00:17

Tuesday will be the longest it has been, so will hold out til then or I will use all the tests up grinshock

7 months???????? REALLY?????

whoops Thu 24-Jul-08 14:01:10

Flame I couldn't get all the tests in the envelope so do have some more I can send if you need them grin

<<lurks>>

orangina Thu 24-Jul-08 14:09:29

flame, was following your last thread and am going to have to lurk on here now.... i hope you find out your answer one way or the other soon (but for what it's worth, you do sound pg..... shock!)

Flamesparrow Thu 24-Jul-08 20:28:36

It appears to be over. Started spotting so assuming it will happen properly tomorrow.

I'm gonna have to cancel the doctor appointment though (got one on saturday for another coil rummage).

Still feeling sick, sore and huge

And now very because the longer it went on, the more I got my head round it. DH says he isn't sure he even wants a third.

LackaDAISYcal Thu 24-Jul-08 20:32:29

whatever is happening flame, i hope you are OK.

Phoenix Thu 24-Jul-08 20:42:04

Flame - You're having a sh*tty time lately. Hope you're ok. xx

Flamesparrow Fri 25-Jul-08 08:08:32

Yeah I'm ok.

Will have a proper talk with DH this weekend and work out what we're doing.

Hideous cramps

NorthernLurker Fri 25-Jul-08 08:21:45

You poor thing - this has been very hard hasn't it? (I was lurking on your other thread) I hope you can have a good chat with dh.

SuperSillyus Fri 25-Jul-08 08:22:22

Get the coil out and have a third! Thirds are fun. (As are fourths wink)

CantSleepWontSleep Fri 25-Jul-08 08:24:26

Oh, just started reading thread and was not very secretly wishing that you were.

for cramps.

Now get over to Feb thread and answer my question re dates!

Flamesparrow Fri 25-Jul-08 08:25:00

DH says he doesn't even know if he wants a third. I think mainly because I am insane and don't cope with the ones we already have blush

NorthernLurker Fri 25-Jul-08 08:25:02

Thirds are fun - I suspect flamesparrow already thinks that though and it's Mr Flamesparrow we need to bludgeon with our tales of how you hardly notice the extra baby etc.

NorthernLurker Fri 25-Jul-08 08:27:57

x posted. Just want to add that even if you don't want to go for it mow, doesn't mean never. I have a 10 yr old, a 7 year old and a 15 mth old - and contrary to what everyone thinks the 15 mth old was the most planned of the lot! I love having a big gap and have found it much easier to cope with than two or three under five. I know quite a lot of people with similar gaps actually and it's lovely. (I'm typing this whilst dd3 is downstairs with her highly responsible and mostly sensible sisters)

mustrunmore Fri 25-Jul-08 08:32:01

Flame, how many more times. You just have the mystery thing that I have, and have passed it on to me. After I've seen gp today, I'll let you know what's wroing with you grin

NappiesNoMore Fri 25-Jul-08 08:39:03

aw flame sad <big rl hug for you next time i see you>

NappiesNoMore Fri 25-Jul-08 08:39:42

oh, and i will try not to say things like '3 is madness, never let them outnumber you' around dh wink

Flamesparrow Fri 25-Jul-08 08:42:08

Nah, your opinion won't count Nappies - your set up is so different to ours wink.

NappiesNoMore Fri 25-Jul-08 09:21:56

it is? how so? wink

i want us both to have more babies ! little lovely smelling newborns! yay! and without pnd, theyd be so much fun! (i can keep taking the meds, right? hollow laugh)
