On a scale of one to oh crap - how worried should I be?

I can't find my coil strings. I have never lost them before. DH can't find them either.

I have a gynae appointment on Tuesday so I can tell them then assuming they haven't shown up.

Do they often hide for a bit?

I dont think it's a major issue. Especially if you are not in any pain, and you are seeing the gynae on Tuesday.

I have never been able to find mine, but the are apparently there, hiding in a perfectly safe spot. Dont worry.

I once lost mine, gp found them knotted high up, said that was common in people who had a vigorous sex life, dont know if he was winding me up.

I don't remember the last time I checked for them... am a tad concerned about the very sore norks I currently had and the last date of sex!

if i'd never been able to find them it wouldn't bother me, but the fact that I used to be able to easily, and now they are poof....

flame - you do know that I got pg with a coil in place doncha

but really I wouldn't worry. I couldn't find mine (some months before the conception) but the family planning people did straight away.

@ the concept of a vigorous sex life lately

sometimes trouble finding mine but just try again in a few days - i think you may be a little more vigalnet that me.

I wouldn't be 'oh crap'ing but maybe 'um, ah'ing.

Would it be so terrible to have a DD/DS2?

Report
Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 19:35

Tis the date that would be the issue.

Both of them fall on/next to one of the Psychochildren's birthdays. I wanted the next one (if we decided to have one) to have a birthday all by itself so it has to be conceived during a Nov/Dec/Jan (anal and obsessive? me?).

If sore norks are for a reason, it would fall about Psychogirl1's birthday

Oh fgs! There is no issue

My DD and DS have birthdays 9 days apart, and within a month of mine and DH's birthdays (which are 13 days apart). Also DS was born only 3 weeks after my cousins DD.

In the great scheme of things, it dont matter. In fact, often, it works out to be quite useful when buying presents...(2 for the price of 3 etc )

VeniVidiVickiQV · 19/07/2008 19:40

Or even 3 for the price of 2
