Been prescribed ABs, what probiotics are best to take as well?

I'm on ABs for a tooth abscess, and want to make sure I keep a healthy gut as I've got colitis. I guess taking probiotics is a good idea, but not sure what kind yoghurt/Yakult/something else can anyone advise?

I usually take acidophilus capsules which seem to work well for me.

Take Vitamin B composite pills to avoid thrush.

Decent brand super acidophilus capsules (might be £££), and keep them in the fridge once opened....
