argh. quick help needed with judgement call. Tonsil problem

Not sure if it works for strep but gargling with a hydrogen peroxide solution clears tonsilitus in 24 hours - of course they have to be old enough not to swallow it.

And no I wouldn't send him if he is contagious - imagine how you would feel if he passed it on to someone with compromised immunity or a preganant single mother of 12 kids who had to look after those 12 kids whilst dealing with strep!

Last time one of my DSs had Scarlet Fever (same bug) the doctor said he could go back to school after 24 hours of ABs. So he could defintely go tomorrow, anyway!
