my dd age 13 has been diagnosed with this .It affects one of her metatarsal bones .She has just had her cast removed and now has pain in her ankle and it's swollen.Does anyone have any experience of this disease?No one seems to have heard of it.Apparently it mainly affects adolescent girls but seems to be quite rare.
