Help! What's wrong with me?! (Long post!)

In 2019 I developed a stress fracture in my tibia, since then have had numerous problems.
My Tibias have been found to rotate outwards, my hips are rotated differently, one leg is shorter than the other. I have respiratory problems from time to time that respond with steroids. I have lower back pain and severe neck pain (burning sensation), it also crunches a lot. I regularly have a headache over one eye. My eyes also feel like they are burning. I'm currently undergoing more tests but I feel like Im falling apart. I am drained of energy. I did a small amount of weeding today and am now in so much pain. My elbow is now also flaring up. The Dr identified that I have cervical kyphosis and lumber lordosis. I'm pretty sure my spine used to be straight! I'm late 30s but feel about 100. What could this be. Every test throws up a new problem but we are no closer to working out what is going on with me. Has anyone ever had anything like this?!

That sounds dreadful op and I'm really sorry you're suffering so Flowers

I'm afraid I don't have suggestions
I'm guessing they've checked for osteoporosis? Checked for nerves issues?

If you haven't already been referred to a physio do get a referral sorted - they'll work with you to build up strength and suppleness which better support your bones and joints and help with pain and movement.

I'd try an optician about your eyes, they're best set to diagnose any issues and if they can't they'll refer you to hospital.

@TaraR2020 thank you. The new consultant has suggested redoing the Dexa osteoporosis test and am waiting for more MRI scans. I think you are right, I should see a physiotherapist. It had been suggested but after a diagnosis but I think I will push for it now. I'm happy to pay for one privately. I will see if the consultant can recommend one.

That's good, I hope the next round of tests proves helpful!

Have you had your eyes tested recently? Headache over one eye sounds a bit migraine-y and could maybe be a sign of eye strain? Or maybe its triggered by whatever is causing your neck pain?

I'm also assuming you've had full bloods taken recently to check for deficiencies as some of these- including vit d - can cause general pain.

Id also see if you can get a referral to a pain clinic as I'm guessing you're probably on as many painkillers as they can give you.

I recently posted on the chronic pain thread that I'm trying out the Curable app, which seems to have had a lot of positive results helping ppl manage chronic pain.

I've just looked up cerical kyphosis and I can see how this would cause many of your pain symptoms. When a core part of the back is out it throws everything off - parts of your body will be overcompensating which will put them under strain. While I don't know anything about this condition other than what I've just read on Google, I would be hopeful that intensive physio would help although not a quick fix. One of the potential causes that came up on nhs website was pagets disease so I don't know if that's something that feels like a possibility?

Thank you @TaraR2020. I have seen the Curable app advertised so will take a look. I went to the opticians at Christmas and got a new prescription. I wonder if the headache is triggered by the neck. The blood tests were really comprehensive but I haven't seen the results yet. I have emailed the consultants secretary to see if she can recommend a physio ( she did say previously that she referred patients to one who used acupuncture too to help manage pain). Im due to see the rheumatologist in April to get all the results. I have looked at Paget's and think that it does sound similar to what I am experiencing. Chronic pain is awful, I think I cope much better with things when I know exactly what is going on and what I can do to manage it.

Yes, I've found that, I had forgotten actually, how much worse it is when your body feels broken but you can't work out what it is that's wrong.

Good luck with the test results and I hope you can get some physio sorted soon. Dont be afraid to try different physiotherapists if you find the first doesn't help that much.
Having had physio a few times, it took a couple of attempts each time to find a physio that got it but when they did it was life changing.
