Cystitis or a UTI?

I was on antibiotics about a month ago for a chest infection. I then developed oral and vaginal thrush so was on something for that - something beginning with F? Also given Canesten and cleared up the thrush.

Now my vagina is sore a bit and I'm having slight tingly slightly painful sensations when urinating.

Does it sound like something cranberry juice might cure? Or should I consult GP? I really don't want another course of antibiotics!!

D-mannose might do the trick?

Sorry to jump on your thread..@SOLINVICTUS I’ve just bought D-mannose after reading lots about it for uti’s - which I keep getting.
I’ve got 100mg- it states 2 capsules twice a day as maintenance dose.
Do you know anymore or have experience?

@Hatstrategicallydipped I would do the canestan again as sounds like the start of thrush. If you have none at home, I’ve found a good smear of Vaseline really helps every time I go to toilet after wiping .

Not really! I also got some because I read about it on here! Mine is sachets which you dissolve in water, 500mg. I'm taking it as a kind of supplement to keep the urinary tract happy.
