Headache after massage/back treatment?

I had a massage with a chiropractor yesterday and she moved me around a bit and poked and prodded me massaging my back.
My back feel amazing today 🤣 But I had the most awful headache last night that wouldn't clear easily with paracetamol.
It was the kind of headache that banged when you moved your head and it was all the way around the back of my head and neck.
It's better today just feels a bit hang over like.
I've heard massages and chiropractic treatments can do this?
Has anyone experienced it before personally?

I used a massage pillow a bit recently and had a cracking headache and stiffness. However just realised I am coming down with a cold as keep waking up feeling hung over.

A good massage shouldn't cause pain but it could be secondary, if maybe you were dehydrated or have a virus coming on.

I have regular remedial massage. I often feel sickly and have headaches after. I think you are supposed to drink plenty of water after the massage to flush out the toxins.

I get deep tissue and remedial massages every month and if I've not drank enough it almost feels like the beginnings of a migraine. I just make sure I drink loads the day of treatment which seems to help unless my neck/back is particularly bad then I just have a hot shower and an early night l. It's always gone the following day,

Yes I have had this before, something about the toxins released and needing to drink loads of water to flush them out.
